Abingdon and Witney College are an award-winning education provider, delivering skills to all ages, levels, and backgrounds within Oxfordshire. Across three main campuses and in more than 20 community venues, we deliver a broad range of innovative and practical courses and ensure that all of our students thrive, from school leavers studying for their future careers to adult learners looking to find a new hobby or gain a professional qualification.

If you live near Witney, you may have already seen our refurbished campus and our new buildings. Inside, you will find industry-standard facilities, which ensure you are learning in an environment that mirrors that of the ‘real world’ including a purpose-built Construction Skills Centre. These courses have proved very popular, with plumbing, electrical installation, and carpentry and joinery creating a very vibrant construction skills offer.

We also have specialist rooms such as a broadcast media studio – including a radio station – a hair salon, beauty salon, music technology studios and computing facilities to name but a few. From September, we will have invested in even more facilities to provide you with the most up to date learning environments for our new T Levels. These are the equivalent of A levels and offer an industry placement to ensure that you are even more familiar with real working environments, giving you the edge when applying for jobs or going onto university.

We pride ourselves in being part of our community and our mission is to change lives, so it’s not just about our facilities, it’s about the people. Our teaching staff are industry trained and dedicated to ensuring your experience with us is a positive one. Whether you are new to education or returning after a long break, our teaching staff are there to ensure you flourish. We also have other fantastic staff teams here to support you at every step of your journey, from choosing which course is right for you, right through to supporting you in your next career steps. It really is all about you and your success.

Now that things are getting back to normal, in November we had our first Open Evenings in person with students and their families able to attend the campuses and talk to staff and see the facilities. Our next Open Evening in Witney is on Wednesday 16 February 3.30-7.00pm. You can book via our website, or just come along on the evening. You will find all the courses available at our Witney and Common Leys campuses represented, with staff and present students available to talk to and the fantastic facilities open to visitors.

There are many positive reasons to study with us from enjoying the social side of learning something totally new with other people, getting that sense of pride that comes with achieving a qualification or getting that sense of accomplishment from gaining industry-ready skills to help you further your career.

Come and visit us here to see how we can change your life.
