With a fabulous new store and large shop front windows looking onto Alvescot Road, Manager Sophie Hemmings and her team from Blossom Bridal with Men’s Formal Hire are already enjoying being part of the friendly Carterton community since there opening on the 1st of December 2023.

Having traded for many years in Witney, the business has now moved to a new fresh location at 1-2 Ramilles House in Alvescot Road, providing Blossom Bridal with the perfect location in which to display and sell their wide range of wedding attire and Prom/Evening gowns, alongside Men’s formal Hire and retail.

The new shop, which is fully accessible to people with mobility issues, is the perfect place to visit if you want a personal bespoke service.

When designing the layout, Sophie and her team completely transformed the building into a fresh bright professional boutique, ensuring that their customers would be able to find exactly what they are looking for when they come to Blossom Bridal with Men’s Formal Hire.

Brides of all sizes from size 4 to size 36 are catered for with over 150 sample dresses in-store and the expertise of the bridal consultants on hand to assist you to find the dress of your dreams whatever your budget. The bridal boutique works closely with their represented designers and are able to offer brides bespoke dresses provided sufficient time is available to do so. New collections will be coming in store during the Spring and there is currently a 25% discount sale on everything excluding Men’s Hire wear until the middle of February 2024.

The Menswear department has also expanded beyond formal hire with a new retail section now open. This will offer customers suits, shirts, casual wear, and knitwear all displayed in a comfortable retail environment.

“We can assist our customers with finding exactly what they and their wedding parties need for the big day,” says Sophie. “When it comes to menswear hire for weddings or black-tie events, we can provide all the items required at reasonable prices. As fewer menswear stores are available on the high streets in local towns, we hope that gentlemen will come in and see what is available for everyday wear or special occasions.”

Young people who are looking for the perfect outfit for their Prom are well catered for too. The team has a rule that they will not sell the same colour, in the same style to the same school, so there is no worry that you will arrive for their special evening wearing the same outfit as other classmates.

“Now is the time that young ladies and gentlemen should be looking for their Prom outfits,” says Sophie. “It is worth starting early so you can have the widest range of outfits to choose from.”

Blossom Bridal with Men’s Formal Hire is open from 9 am until 5 pm Monday to Saturday. Look on their Facebook page (facebook.com/blossombridal.co.uk) as they may be offering Sunday opening during Prom season.

To ensure that you have sufficient time with a consultant, please give the store a call on 01993 702259 to book an appointment. That way you will ensure you have sufficient time to find what you are looking for. Blossom Bridal can offer payment plans and offers discounts to Military, NHS, Blue Light and First Response Personnel.

Sophie, Lizzie, Sophie P, Fiona, and Lisa are very excited to welcome you to the new shop.
