If you love all things floral and you wear jewellery, the beautifully hand crafted pieces created by Hayley Chandler, could be the perfect accessory to any outfit.
Initially Hayley started creating flowers with clay but when she found out about making items with resin as an art form, everything changed. Having watched endless hours of instructing videos on YouTube, slowly she taught herself a wonderful new craft. Harvesting and using many of her own flowers grown in her garden and dried by her, Hayley experimented and developed rings and necklaces showcasing the beauty of the flowers. The process can be slow as sometimes it can take up to three weeks for the petals to be perfectly dried and ready for use. When her designs call for a flower shape that she is not able to grow, she supports other local businesses and buys online from them.
“I seek to capture the ephemeral beauty of nature as an artist,” says Hayley. “The delicate petals, vibrant hues, and transient moments are preserved in resin, creating wearable art that stands as a testament to the artistic spirit within.”
The various items of jewellery make the perfect gifts for a wide variety of occasions – it could be just simply as a token of your love, a reminder of motherhood, a thank you or simply a piece of very wearable art. Creating bespoke items which resonate with her buyer’s individuality gives Hayley much creative satisfaction.
