Wills

Most people assume that a will is to ensure that our assets are passed to the people of our choice which is of course true. The hardship caused to our dependents if we die without a will is rarely considered but is equally important. A will also appoints guardians for young children.

If we lose mental or physical capacity, not necessarily from Dementia or Alzheimer’s, but after a fall, car accident or a stroke we may lose our signature and not be able to sign any documents at all. Also your bank account can be frozen. This can be a disaster for us and our loved ones. The solution is to appoint attorneys such as family and friends to act for us before the problem occurs.

Trusts and their Registration
