The Didcot Mind Body Wellbeing Show has a new venue - Hagbourne Village Hall. The event takes place on Sunday 13th October 11-5pm, marking a change from its previous location at the Didcot Marlborough Club.

Hagbourne is widely known as the location of Doctor Who and the Android Invasion. In the 1976 TV story, Tom Baker's Doctor took on the alien Kraals and android versions of old companions. Many scenes were shot in the village, around the Memorial Cross and the Fleur de Lys Pub.

The show, run by Deer Spirit Events, which runs similar events in Witney, Kidlington, Banbury and Thame, is set to be a fantastic day of holistic healing and spiritual exploration.

The event will showcase an impressive lineup of talented readers including tarot psychics, mediums, and shamanic. Attendees can also indulge in rejuvenating therapies such as massage, reflexology, Sekhem healing and Reiki, and learn about Falun Gong, a spiritual practice combining meditation and gentle exercises.

Reflexology is a therapeutic method of applying pressure to specific points on the feet, hands, or ears to promote healing throughout the body. Reiki is a Japanese healing practice that has been popular in the West. It involves channelling universal life energy to promote relaxation, healing, and emotional balance through gentle touch. Sekhem is an ancient Egyptian healing system that also channels universal life force energy to promote wellbeing.

In addition, the show features a vibrant marketplace with exhibitors offering handmade jewellery, authentic crystals, ethically sourced clothing, original artwork, natural cosmetics, and a variety of wellbeing products, including singing bowls. These bowls, often made of metal or crystal, produce soothing sounds when struck or rubbed, great for relaxation and meditation.

Organiser, Julie Fenn says: “Don't miss out on this opportunity to nurture your mind, body, and spirit. You can explore holistic healing modalities, and empowering workshops, and connect with like-minded individuals. Whether you are after a bit of relaxation, rejuvenation or spiritual enlightenment, our show has something for everyone. Mark your calendar and join us for a day of self-discovery and holistic wellness.”
