Our classes are just one of many amazing places to meet new and like-minded people, try a different way of training, and see the benefits from exercise.
We strive to help you achieve any goal you wish. This may be to lose weight, build muscle, or improve your fitness levels through free gym inductions, programmes to structure your workouts, and body composition analysis so you can see just how your body has changed in regard to fat and muscle mass. There are personal trainers available who will help you not only during your gym sessions but also what you can do outside of the gym to help you work towards your goal. If you are interested in joining a group class but are a little hesitant because you don’t really know what the titles mean, then here is your class guide. All the classes below are available at the club, and you can be assured that you’ll get a warm welcome from both your instructor and your fellow participants.
BODYPUMP™ – The original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This workout challenges all your major muscle groups. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast!
BOX FIT – A series of boxing combinations aimed at standing boxing bags. This class will push toning & strength with added body weight exercises.
KETTLEBELLS – A 30-minute workout session with kettlebells. Using ballistic exercises that combine, cardiovascular, strength and flexibility. Something new for your weekly routine!
BODYBALANCE™ – Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centred and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration, and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.
PILATES – Pilates is a refreshing mind and body workout which focuses on core stability and posture aiming to lengthen and strengthen muscles. Pilates increases flexibility, agility, builds strength and is a safe yet challenging workout.
YOGA – The practice of harmonising the mind and body. Yoga classes will increase your range of motion, facilitate relaxation and release tension through focusing on posture alignment and breathing.
BODYCOMBAT™ – The empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This energetic class is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as Karate, boxing, Taekwondo, Tai Chi and Muay Thai. Supported by driving music and powerful role model instructors, you will strike, punch, kick, and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness.
CIRCUITS – A workout for the whole body, this station-based class requires little coordination but can achieve maximum results.
HIIT – A training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.
SENIOR CIRCUITS – A workout for the whole body, tailored for the more senior member. This station-based class requires little coordination but can achieve maximum results.
STUDIO CYCLING – The ultimate indoor cycling experience taking you on a sensational journey of hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials, and interval training with music that will motivate, move you and get you to your fitness goals.
