Witney’s Tower Hill Football Club has a rich heritage of enabling players of all ability, gender, ethnicity and religion to participate in the sport. They encourage children from six years and above to adults, to play competitive football in a safe and controlled environment under the supervision of qualified coaches. Affiliated to West Witney Sports & Social Club, their grounds are located on the Burford Road in Witney, OX29 0NB.

Established in September 1999, Tower Hill Vixens provide a range of girls teams from U7 to U16, all of whom play in the Oxfordshire Girls League on Saturday morning. With a pathway into Ladies football from the age of 16, supported by their quality coaches, Tower Hill FC’s commitment to developing The Vixens is something of which they are extremely proud. Following the start of this year’s football season, Tower Hill FC has been hosting a series of anniversary events.

The weekend anniversary celebrations start on Friday 11 October at 7.30pm with a Quiz Night hosted by the Vixens Ladies team. The Saturday evening sees them holding a BBQ with live music and the weekend concludes on the Sunday from midday onwards for various football matches and a Family Fun Day. All events are hosted at West Witney Sports & Social Club and are open to the public. They would love to see as many people as possible supporting their local grassroots football club.

This season has seen the Club enter three new girls teams into league football and they currently cater for circa 200 girls from aged 6 right through to adults. They also have an inclusive provision for teenagers and adults who have a physical or learning difficulty where they can take part in training and Bobi league football.

Tower Hill FC has been awarded Squad Girls, which is an FA initiative to encourage girls aged 12-14 to engage in a fun, recreational offer that allows them to develop themselves as well as their football skills in a safe environment. The Club invites girls to take part in football with no previous experience required. The Squad Girl’s sessions are held on Sunday mornings from 10.30am at Windrush Primary School in Witney. For further information please contact the Club using the form on their website towerhillfc.co.uk or email their Club Secretary at secretary@towerhillfc.co.uk
